Questions for couples

Playing games with just two people is harder than it sounds. Most party games need at least three, there's no one to break a tie, and taking turns feels pointless. The questions on this page were picked specifically for two — whether you're with a partner, a sibling, or a friend you've known for years.

There are two ways to play. First, the sync test: you both answer the same question without showing each other, then reveal at the same time. Matches count, mismatches spark conversation. Second, picking between yourselves: a question appears, you both point at one person.

You can read through the list below and play on paper if you like. In the game, answers are matched automatically and you get a compatibility score at the end.
